Selling arts and crafts can be a great way for you to make some extra money on the side and it could even turn into your full time job! If you are just starting out you probably do not have a lot of cash to invest in your new business venture but if you sell online you won’t need much money to get started. Check out these sites to sell arts and crafts online and remember you do not have to sell at just one!
Two of the most popular places to sell arts and crafts online are etsy.com and ebay.com. These are probably the most well known sites but this may be exactly why you do not want to use them. You may find that on these larger sites your work gets lost among all the other products. This isn’t always true, of course, and you may find that these sites are not only cheaper for you but produce the best results.
If you find Etsy and Ebay overwhelming, or would just like to start with a smaller website, then you may be interested in sites like craftmall.com or boundlessgallery.com to sell arts and crafts online. Craft Mall is more like your local craft fair while Boundless Gallery is reminds me of the art festivals we have downtown. Both of these offer a different fee policy than Etsy and Ebay, something that may fit your budget or work style better.
If you would like more control then you could even sell your product on your own website or blog though it is very likely that you will be unable to attract the amount of visitors that a larger site can.
These are just some suggestions of sites where you could sell arts and crafts online, there are many other sites available or you could even start your own if you have enough people wanting to buy your product! It may take some experimenting to find the website that best works for you and your product.
